I am a mountaineer, photographer, essay writer, environmentalist and cyclist all rolled into one. Multi-tasking is my only secret in performing all my duties and extra-curricular activities. If you are interested in knowing why I have been this busy then continue reading on.
I first got interested into photography because of the breathtaking scenes I see whenever my mountaineer group climb mountains. I wanted to capture the sights in the wild and show other people the goodness about climbing mountains. I bought a second hand DSLR camera from my cousin and studied photography myself. I alos enrolled in photography seminars whenever I have time.
My mountaineering group is an advocate of environmental conservation. For us, climbing is not only a leisure but also a way to promote environmental awareness by planting seedlings in the mountains and picking up non-biodegradable wastes while hiking. We usually ask other groups to participate with our climbs and we are expanding our community by recruiting more members. More members means more people who will help preserve the environment.
I am also a triathlete. I run, swim and ride. I grew up near the beach and that is how I learned swimming. Eventually, I also enjoyed riding especially when my older brother brings me with him in his adventures. I usually join triathlon competitions for a cause and just for fun.
I have to travel a lot because of my profession. I am a contributor for a travel magazine. Once a month, I have to publish an essay paper about my travels and photographs about the places I go to.
I am enjoying my life to death because I get to do what I want and I love it!
